Item: Handmade scarf
Hjördís moved to the UK just two weeks before this photo was taken; she wants to improve her English, to seek out new opportunities and to try living in a new environment. She plans to stay for at least a year.
Her scarf was given to her by someone special – the colours remind her of the moss and plants found in the Icelandic countryside.
